No problem — your license isn't locked to one machine. Just contact us when you switch computers and we'll deactivate it on the old one and move it to the new one for you.

Are updates included?

What is your refund policy?

You never have to buy blind. The full 30-day free trial lets you test every feature first, so you only pay once you're sure it's right for you — which is why purchases are final. And if you do run into a technical problem after buying, just reach out. We'll make it right.

What are the system requirements?

Windows: Windows 10/11 (64-bit), 4GB RAM
Mac: macOS 10.13+, 4GB RAM
Linux: Ubuntu 20.04+, 4GB RAM
All platforms need ~500MB disk space.

Does EasyLedger require an internet connection?

Not for your day-to-day work. EasyLedger runs offline — internet is only needed periodically to validate your license, download updates, and (optionally) email invoices. Your books, reports, and invoicing all work without a connection.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored locally on your computer in an encrypted SQLite database. It never goes to the cloud. You have complete control and privacy. Your financial data is your business, literally!

Is my data secure?

Yes! EasyLedger uses industry-standard encryption for your database. Since data never leaves your computer, you're protected from cloud breaches. You can also set a PIN to lock the application.

Can I export my data?

Absolutely! Export reports to PDF and Excel. Export transactions to CSV. Your data is never locked in - you own it and can take it wherever you need.

Can I import my data from QuickBooks or other accounting software?

Yes. EasyLedger imports your existing data from any accounting software that can export a CSV file — including QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, and FreshBooks. So you can switch over without starting from scratch or re-entering everything by hand.

Does EasyLedger work on Apple Silicon (M1/M2) Macs?

Yes! EasyLedger runs natively on Apple Silicon Macs for optimal performance.

Features & Usage

Does EasyLedger handle multiple currencies?

Currently EasyLedger focuses on USD. Multi-currency support is planned for a future update.

Can I customize invoice templates?

Yes! Add your logo, customize colors, adjust layouts, and choose which fields to display. Make invoices that match your brand.

Does it integrate with my bank?

No — EasyLedger is a standalone desktop application and doesn't connect to your bank accounts. That's deliberate: it keeps your financial data private and on your machine.
