How to Update

If you already have EasyLedger installed, you don't need to download anything — the app updates itself. EasyLedger checks for updates automatically and downloads the new version in the background. When it's ready, you'll see a prompt asking whether you want to install it: choose Restart Now to update right away, or Later to keep working and have the update install the next time you close the app. Your data stays exactly where it is.

Your data is safe: Updates never touch your local database. If you want to be extra careful, back up your data folder before updating — but we've never had an update cause data loss.
